Born in Surrey, England. Harry Gilbert is a professional artist whose practice centres around the forms, shapes, and wondrous effects of light found in nature. Greatly inspired by the scientific innovations and discoveries made in the late 19th century, Harry predominantly paints from life. Directly observing and experiencing the visual impression of the subject at first hand. From stunning vistas with compositional harmony, to fast-paced street corners that radiate a subtle charm of life.

Alongside regularly exhibiting his expanding collections of works, Harry completes commissioned paintings.
